Ok... here goes.

I"m starting a bi-monthly eMagazine for churches on tight budgets. I don't plan on selling subscriptions right now. It's for everything in the local church. Alot of magazines only offer stuff for larger churches, so I figured i'd do one for the local church and talk about everything from DIY, ideas, software, for everything from the tech department to the childrens department, to just really share only the things we talk about amongst ourselves, as well as interviews from church figures.

What do you guys think?

If you want to contribute or talk about an article, i'll put it in the magazine. Feel free to contribute.

Here is a mock-up: Click Me

I have been kept away from replying by something each time. I think I have partial replies on two other computers right now.

It is a good idea, but a big undertaking.

Hi Marcus

Has the idea progressed at all? It seems to me that producing a pdf magazine is a good idea but maybe a better one would be to blog the magazine.

I don't know... this sort of content readily available on a blog means someone searching for "diy church small etc" will be able to find something in your blog. It would be easy to register a few users to assist with the blog and post articles and it would then be a continual process of building a site with useful ideas rather than a bi-monthly mag.

Whatever, you do I think I would always say this: "Good idea or God idea?" If it is a God idea why aren't you doing it?

God bless.

HAHA, I forgot all about this when... well, there was a lack of interest... but this does sound like a good idea. I think I might take it up again and in blog format... why not.

I see this is kinda old, but wanted to comment that I think that's a great idea as well. I think the smaller churches have their own unique needs that get overlooked sometimes. Your online blog/magazine sounds like a great idea. Let us know where to find it when you get it going!

I check this site every day to see if there are any new posts, so I was delighted to actually see one, today :-) I guess I'm partly to blame for the lack of posting if I'm not posting either, so I guess it works both ways. Anyways...God bless and have a great day!

Marcus, it looks good, but I agree that a blog might be cheaper than a mag.
